System lifecycle management with Contact Elements

Abstract

The contract illustrates the prototypical implementation of a holistic model-based approach to the development of cybertronic systems using the CONTACT Elements platform. The approach as such pursues the goal of developing today's complex and multidisciplinary systems with the help of MBSE concepts and optimising their use in operations
In the example of the prototypical realisation of the MBSE approach, CONTACT Elements serves as a platform for managing the system architecture as well as the digital master and twins, thereby ensuring traceability between the early conceptual design phase of a system in the development process and the operational application of a system in the real world. The prototype application is based on the example of an excavator as part of an autonomous construction site.
