Abstract
The following paper will discuss the results of dealing with future vehicle data files based on Block Chain. Future vehicles will integrate the application and adoption of different kinds of vehicle files based on Blockchain. Moreover, this paper will elaborate an industrial case of how the integration of such a technology will contribute to more vehicle data security. It is possible to ensure the communication of vehicles to the environment infrastructure which can be based on other vehicles or infrastructure equipment like traffic light or even Maut stations for exchanging information in a secure way. For that reason it is important to understand how the basic of this technology for vehicle data files can work and how the requirements for this technology can be implemented and considered in a systematic way. The atomization of such technologies will contribute to a more secure way to exchange different kinds of vehicle data in the future. The future will be based on a software defined vehicle and the secure was to exchange data files between e.g. vehicle will be one of the important aspects. This paper will contribute a literature review for Blockchain Technology and its fundamentals and functions. Based on the literature survey the requirements for an integration in the industry will be elaborated. The last section will conclude the results.
