PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT AS KEY ENABLER FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Abstract

A Circular Economy is an alternative to a traditional linear economy (make, use, dispose) in which we keep resources in use as long as possible, extract the maximum value from them, and ultimately recycle products and materials at the end of each useful life. Sustainability is at the heart of BMW Group‘s broader strategy, encompassing all relevant aspects, from the supply chain to production and the product life cycle. Our clear claim is that the GREENEST ELECTRIC VEHICLE comes from BMW. We are reducing CO2 emissions per vehicle over the entire value chain. This is what sets the BMW Group apart.
