How can digital technologies, especially in combination with PLM, positively influence the ecological dimension of sustainability?
The following contribution, from the perspective of a leading PLM vendor, will highlight the challenges that new regulations and standards, such as the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), pose for a PLM system and the capabilities that a modern PLM system should have to meet these requirements. Using practical examples, the auditorium will be shown how to successfully transition from classic PLM to closed-loop lifecycle management and “green PLM”.
