Abstract
Digitalisation has been one of the top issues for companies in recent years. The ambitious goals of Industry 4.0 have put the availability of data at the centre of entrepreneurial activity.
PLM was and is an important component of these initiatives and serves as the basis for new data architectures that are intended to make the development, production and operation of products transparent.
Using the example of the "Non-Conformance / Corrective-Preventive Action App" at Airbus Defence and Space, this interaction is shown and the challenges to these systems, openness and flexibility, are illustrated
